Terjemah A Christmas Poem – Wendy Cope

A Christmas Poem
by Wendy Cope

At Christmas little children sing and merry bells jingle,
The cold winter air makes our hands and faces tingle
And happy families go to church and cheerily they mingle
And the whole business is unbelievably dreadful, if you’re single.

Wendy Cope, (born 21 July 1945) is a contemporary English poet. She read history at St Hilda’s College, Oxford. She now lives in Ely, Cambridgeshire, with her husband, the poet Lachlan Mackinnon.
